Infection prevention and control is of the highest importance to our group. A modern and progressive dental centre, we strictly adhere to recommended infection control guidelines.
CP Dental complies with the Public Health Act 2005 (Qld) by maintaining an Infection Control Management Plan (ICMP) which is reviewed and assessed at least annually. Our infection prevention and control protocols are based upon upon guidelines set down by the Australian Dental Association, Standards Australia, the Australian Government Department of Health and Aging and the Dental Board of Australia, our protocols are regularly reviewed and kept up to date.
Our infection prevention and control protocols include but are not limited to:

- Pre- and post- procedure, daily, and weekly cleaning

Each member of our team receives supervised training in all protocols and procedures and adheres to these protocols at all times. External and in-service training to update infection control protocols and procedures is also provided.
Our equipment and surgery environment is regularly maintained to the highest standards. We go above and beyond guidelines by tracking the sterilization of our instruments used in each and every procedure. Our infection prevention and control protocols ensure the highest level of safety for our patients, our visitors and our team alike.
